Privacy Policy

Welcome to Pixyn, a mobile application by Adev ("we", "us", "our"). Pixyn generates images and video from text, edits photos you provide, and applies styles to them.

This Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect, what leaves your device, who processes it, and what we keep. We never sell your content and we never use it for advertising.

1. Definitions

  • "User" — any individual using Pixyn.
  • "Application" — the Pixyn mobile application.
  • "Prompt" — the text you write to describe what you want generated or changed.
  • "Input Image" — a photo you choose from your device for editing, style transfer, or animation.
  • "Creation" — any image or video the Service produces for you.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

You can use Pixyn as a guest — an anonymous account created through Firebase Authentication — or sign in with an email address and password. Depending on the method we may receive an email address and an account identifier. We never receive your password in readable form.

Prompts and Generation Records

When you generate, edit, restyle, or animate, we store a record of that request: your account identifier, the type of request, the first 500 characters of your Prompt, links to the resulting Creation, and technical parameters such as the model, aspect ratio, resolution, and duration, along with a timestamp. This record is what lets you recover your work and lets us support and troubleshoot your account.

Input Images

An Input Image you choose is uploaded to our servers so it can be processed, and is forwarded to our AI provider for that purpose. The uploaded copy is deleted from our servers as soon as the request finishes, whether it succeeded or failed. We do not keep a library of the photos you edit.

Your Gallery

Everything you create is saved to your own device and listed in your in-app gallery. That gallery is local: deleting an item there removes it from your device.

Usage and Credits

We count the credits you spend per period so the plan limits work. This is linked to your account.

Technical Information

We automatically collect limited technical data — device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, error logs, and coarse usage analytics — to keep the Service secure, diagnose problems, and improve it.

Payment Information

Where paid plans are offered, they are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We never collect or store your payment card details.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to: produce the Creations you ask for, authenticate you, apply your credit allowance, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose technical problems, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, and we do not use your Prompts, Input Images, or Creations for advertising.

4. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers

To produce a Creation, your Prompt — and, for an edit, style transfer, or animation, your Input Image — is transmitted to xAI, which operates the Grok Imagine models that perform the generation. That transmission is necessary to provide the Service: without it there is nothing to generate from. xAI processes this material under its own terms and privacy policy.

We share information only with the providers needed to operate the Service:

  • xAI — image and video generation, editing, and style transfer.
  • Firebase (Google) — authentication, database for generation records and credit usage, crash reporting, and non-content analytics.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store — payment processing for paid plans.
  • Hosting and cloud infrastructure providers.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to investigate fraud or abuse.

5. Data Security

We implement technical and organisational safeguards including HTTPS-encrypted communications, authenticated API access, restricted server access, and regular security updates. No system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

  • Input Images are deleted from our servers as soon as the request completes.
  • Generation records (prompt excerpt, result links, parameters) are retained while your account is active.
  • Account information is retained while your account is active.
  • Technical logs are retained for up to 12 months.
  • Billing records are retained by Apple and Google under their own legal obligations.
  • Your gallery lives on your device for as long as you keep it there.

You may request deletion of your account and the records associated with it at any time via [email protected].

7. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law (including the GDPR if you are in the EU/EEA), you may have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Submit requests to [email protected] — we respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your Content

You keep the rights you have in the Input Images you provide. You are responsible for having the right to use any photo you upload — including any picture that shows another person. Do not upload images you do not have permission to use.

9. Children's Privacy

Pixyn is not intended for children under 13, and generative tools are not suitable for them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it as soon as possible. Parents or guardians may contact us at [email protected].

10. International Data Transfers

Our providers operate infrastructure in multiple countries, so your information may be transferred internationally. Where such transfers occur we implement reasonable safeguards in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

11. Generated Content

Creations are produced by automated AI systems. They may be inaccurate, unexpected, or resemble existing works, and they are not statements of fact. You are responsible for how you use what you create.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always available in the Application and on this page. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

13. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising from it falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Dutch courts.
